My name's Matt, and I teach the bass guitar. I've been playing for 25+ years and love the instrument.
I offer lessons to those who've never played before, beginners, and intermediate.
I'm based in Exmouth and offer lessons in my music room (Phear Park area). I can also travel to you.
I teach all ages, all techniques and genres. You don't need to be able to read music, and if you haven't yet purchased a bass, I have several to try.
My lessons fun and positive, and I tailor activities to your aims, preferred styles and genres.

About Matt
I've been playing for 25+ years and love the instrument. I've played in several semi-professional bands. More recently I've split my music time with audio recording. I bring my live gigging experience and recording skills into bass lessons (if you're interested in those aspects of bass).
I think we all never stop learning, so my lessons are not about me telling you the 'right way' to play bass, but suggesting things to try, and helping you achieve your aims. The only bad sounding bass guitar is a neglected one!
